Media Training Tips – Body language

We all know that any successful media interview is about getting the right message across. However, its not quite that simple.  It takes less than 30 seconds for the viewing public to decide whether they trust the interviewee or not.  That’s even before they’ve opened their mouth! The public wants to be reassured that the company representative is confident and in control of the situation. Demonstrating nerves automatically says – I’m out of my comfort zone, I don’t want to be here, and I don’t really know what’s going on.  It’s all about being aware of what those tell tale signs are and how to address them. Here in this first of a series of videos, our presentation skills trainer, Sian Jones, has some top tips on managing your body language and making a lasting impression.
