David Addis has worked as a journalist virtually all his working life – mainly in Radio & TV. This includes BBC Radio 4, BBC Local Radio; Independent Radio News, LBC and other Independent Local Radio stations, TV-am, Central TV and EuroNews. He has read the news on Classic FM and as a reporter / writer has mainly worked in hard news.
For the past 25 years he has also worked in media training – preparing people to be interviewed on print / radio / TV especially in times of crisis. He has worked with a large variety of businesses and organisations, including the police national staff college, as well as leading commercial companies and charities.He also works as a consultant in media & communications for the European Union. Since the mid 90's he has worked in a variety of countries in the former Soviet Union and The Balkans. He speaks very good French and has a reasonable knowledge of several other languages including German, Swahili and Turkish. His wife is Ukrainian.
